So we've all heard some form of rumor about the up and coming changes about to take place with the Dollar General in Greenville. The main rumor going around is they will be converting it to a "Dollar General Market Place" which according to Alicia Carroll, Greenville Dollar General Store Manager is not actually the case. According to Ms. Carroll what is actually taking place is a conversion to a "Top Selling Products" Store. "A Top Selling Products Store is basically a Dollar General Store that carries the most popular products most people are looking for." says Ms. Carroll. They will be going from 7 coolers and freezers to over 30. The store will be remodeled and an additional checkout will be added for a total of 3.
The Greenville store has been a leader in sales for their region now for sometime which she attributes to why her management has slated the Greenville market for this type of store say Carroll. According to Ms. Carroll additional personnel are being hired with some part-time positions still available. The amazing part of this is they will accomplish the conversion in just four days, closing on the 13th of August and will reopen with the new changes in place on August 17th.
Ms. Carroll wanted to add currently a large portion of her stock is discounted some up to 60%, items such as comforters, air fresheners, throw rugs and clothing. This sale will end on August 5th and they will start emptying shelves.
If you are interested in a career with Dollar General or a part-time job you must fill the application out on line and take a simple test which must be completed before she will receive the application.
