Register Your Team for Meriwether's Great American Cleanup

It's time to register your team for Keep Meriwether Beautiful's Spring Great American Cleanup event to be held April 21, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Keep Meriwether Beautiful Committee hopes to see teams from schools, churches, civic clubs as well as individuals for this annual event. There is no charge to participate, and each team may select the area of Meriwether County they with to clean. Teams can be as little as two people to as many as you can get to participate.

KMB will supply each team with gloves, trash bags and t-shirts. All bags of trash must be taken to one of the containers located in each town. The container disposal sites include the Alvaton Fire Station, Durand Fire Station, Gay Fire Station, Greenville - Behind Probation Department, Luthersville City Hall, Manchester - At old mill on the Washington Street Side, Across from Rocky Mount Store, St. Marks Community Building, Warm Springs - Across from Police Department, and in Woodbury on Dromedary Street.​

All tires must be taken to the Meriwether County Public Works Department at 689 County Farm Road, Greenville, GA 30222. Only Meriwether County residents will be allowed to dispose of tires. Public Works staff will man the site.
If you were on a team last year, plan to wear your Keep Meriwether Beautiful t-shirt. If you are a new team, KMB willo supply t-shirts for all team members. You must supply needed shirt sizes.

Team representatives may stop by the Meriwether County Administration Building the week of April 16 to pick up supplies for the event.

The results sheet must be turned in by Tuesday, April 24 to be considered for an award. Awards will be given for the largest team and the most bags of trash picked up.
